Product Review: Braun Satinliner Hair Straightener

11 Jan

I have a curly and very stubborn long hair, and not to mention a bit dry too. Thus, as expected, it is prone to frizz. Urgh.

Anyway, I left my Remington shine&protect hair straightener at my parents, and so I thought maybe it’s time to change to a brand new and better straigthener. And so after reading tons of good reviews of this product in Amazon.co.uk, I finally gave in to the temptation of buying the new product in Satin.Hair range by Braun, satinliner hair straightener.

It came a few days after I placed an order at Amazon, but  I didn’t even bothered to tried my brand new product at that time. I wasn’t really sure why. Anyway, today I was feeling bored after reading for my exam, so I decided to give the straightener a chance to prove itself, after leaving it stranded on the top of my wardrobe for almost 2 months.

It has a pair of NanoGlide ceramic plate, which ensures effortless glide on the hair. And as advertise, it was perfectly true. It also came with digital dial to control the temperature, from 130° to 200°. I used 160° and my rebellious hair was straight in only one stroke.

But the most interesting part of this straightener was it came with the Satin Ion™ Technology, which help to reduce the frizz after styling as well as leaving the hair wonderfully shiny and soft. My hair never felt this soft after straightening, and to be honest, I am very impressed with the result.

Believe it or not I only spend around 15 minutes to do my whole very thick hair, the straightener is very easy to use, and heating up only took half a minute. For someone who’s always in a rush, this one is definitely for you.

The only cons I can think of is it cannot be used straight on wet hair, but technically speaking, sraightening a wet hair is a disaster. So I guess the cons is not really a cons? Haha~ Oh, I just realised it is a tad bit expensive. I’ve got it for £30 in Amazon.co.uk (the original retail price is £69.99, so it was really a bargain at that particular time), and I know some people are a bit reluctant to splash out money for a beauty product.

But for a sleek, soft, and shiny hair, I don’t see why I shouldn’t invest on a product that actually worked and doesn’t really cost me a fortune (like a ghd, it will be forever a dream for me).

So in conclusion, it is highly recommended. 4.5 out of 5.

I’ve tried different flat irons and the best one for me is the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it has tourmaline ceramic plates that cause less damage to the hair, it heats up to 460f for all hair textures and types and the best is that it keeps my hair soft, shiny and super straight, I luv it !! 😀

This is really a great product. I read almost seven review on it and finally buy it from amazon. The best part of the hair iron is the inner plate that produce heat and help to straight hair. However before buy any product from any where we should read the review first. So you can check this- http://www.myhaircarecoach.com/, i found this contain several amazon product review and really helpful to take decision.
